*7N/8D Meghalaya, Kaziranga Tour itinerary:*

Day 1 : Departure from Howrah, train journey

*Day 2: Arrival in Guwahati & Transfer to Kaziranga*

Arrive at Guwahati Airport (GAU) and transfer to Kaziranga National Park (approx. 4-5 hours drive).
Check into your hotel/resort in Kaziranga.
Optional: Evening nature walk or visit to a local village.

*Day 3: Kaziranga Wildlife Safari*
Early morning elephant safari in Kaziranga National Park.
After breakfast, enjoy a jeep safari in another range of the park.
Afternoon visit to Kaziranga Orchid and Biodiversity Park.
Overnight stay in Kaziranga.

*Day 4: Kaziranga to Shillong*

Transfer from Kaziranga to Shillong (approx. 5-6 hours drive).
Check into your hotel in Shillong.
Evening at leisure to explore Shillong’s local markets.

*Day 5: Shillong Exploration*

Visit Umiam Lake, known as Barapani, for boating and scenic views.
Explore Don Bosco Museum and Ward’s Lake.
Optional: Visit Elephant Falls or explore local cafes.
Overnight stay in Shillong.

*Day 6: Cherrapunjee Excursion*

Day trip to Cherrapunjee, known for its living root bridges and waterfalls.
Visit Seven Sisters Falls, Nohkalikai Falls, and Mawsmai Caves.
Trek to the Double-Decker Living Root Bridge (optional, requires a moderate trek).
Overnight stay in Cherrapunjee or Shillong.

*Day 7: Mawlynnong & Departure*

Visit Mawlynnong, Asia’s cleanest village.
Explore the living root bridge in Mawlynnong.
Transfer back to Guwahati Airport (GAU) for your departure (approx. 4-5 hours)

Day 8 : overnight train journey from Guwahati to Howrah.
